The primary purpose of this role is to undertake lecturing duties and associated functions, including preparation, assessment, moderation, and curriculum development in the field of Electrical Engineering.
REQUIREMENTS OF THE JOB:
BTech in Electrical Engineering
3 years’ experience in the industry.
1 year lecturing experience essential
MAIN RESPONSIBILITIES OF THE JOB:
Develop academic content and contribute to course material preparation.
Perform administrative tasks related to courses and attend departmental meetings as required.
Maintain a practical understanding of service standards and engage in personal and professional development.
Research and develop new topics, courses, and teaching materials, including online resources.
Participate in examination certification and promotion of learners.
Lecture on subject matter through face-to-face and distance contact sessions with students.
KEY PERFORMANCE AREAS:
Academic content development and lecturing.
Academic leadership and research.
Student records and academic monitoring.
General academic administration.
Student support and contact sessions (distance).
