We are currently seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Assessor/Marker/Moderator. The successful candidate will play a key role in ensuring the quality and integrity of our assessment processes for National Qualifications Framework (NQF) and Sector Education and Training Authority (SETA) programmes. This position requires a combination of educational expertise and industry experience.
Responsibilities:
Conduct assessments, marking, and moderation of student work in accordance with NQF and SETA requirements.
Ensure the validity, reliability, and fairness of assessment procedures and outcomes.
Provide constructive feedback to learners to support their development and progression.
Collaborate with colleagues to maintain and enhance the quality of educational programmes.
Stay updated on industry trends, regulations, and best practices relevant to assessment and moderation.
Uphold ethical standards and integrity in all aspects of assessment and moderation processes.
Requirements:
High School teaching experience as a marker/examiner and moderator OR industry background from an academic space.
In-depth understanding of NQF and SETA frameworks and requirements.
Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
Excellent communication and interpersonal abilities.
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team.
Attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.
Relevant qualifications and certifications in education, training, or related fields.
