We are seeking a dynamic and dedicated individual to join our team as a Lecturer in Photography. In this role, you will play a crucial part in shaping the learning experience for our students, focusing on photography, applied photography, studio techniques, and technical theory. The successful candidate will be responsible for creating engaging facilitation materials, uploading content to Learning Management System (LMS) platforms, developing assessments, and providing valuable support to students.

Key Responsibilities:
Conduct undergraduate-level teaching in Photography, fostering interactive classroom environments that enhance student engagement.
Guide students in the creation of static image work, demonstrating strong conceptual considerations and practical expertise in various photography disciplines.
Organize and facilitate both on- and off-campus workshops, showcasing a generalist knowledge of photography equipment, digital cameras, and workflows.
Utilize your proficiency in digital office tools, including the Microsoft Suite, to enhance workflow and processes.

Qualifications and Skills:
A solid working knowledge of photography equipment and editing programs.
Experience in a photography studio, with the ability to set up equipment for diverse purposes and outcomes.
Familiarity with Adobe InDesign, Adobe Illustrator, or a willingness to learn.
Advanced post-production skills, including proficiency in Adobe Photoshop and Lightroom.
Academic and Professional Development:
Stay updated on developments in the field of photography and assure the quality of subject content, assessment, and learning material relevancy.
Act as a mentor, providing ongoing support to students and participating in strategic initiatives related to teaching, creative production, research, and social engagement.
Attend and actively participate in events and initiatives, such as Open Days and departmental events.
