Requirements: Possession of a minimum NQF Level 6 qualification in Education, Quality Management or a related field pertinent to the role’s demands. A track record of 1-3 years in quality assurance within the higher education sector, with a preference for candidates experienced in digital or distance learning environments. Comprehensive understanding of the South African higher education quality assurance framework, including familiarity with CHE, HEQC, and DHET guidelines and requirements. Advanced skills in digital education technologies and platforms, with the ability to innovate and adapt to new learning environments. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) for effective documentation, analysis, and presentation. Broad exposure to and understanding of the higher education landscape, with insights into academic operations, challenges, and trends. Knowledge and practical experience with AI technologies, showcasing an ability to integrate innovative solutions in quality assurance, strategic planning, and stakeholder engagement efforts.
