The faculty of education seeks independent contractors (members of the contingent faculty) for the various programmes in the faculty.

Requirements:
ideally a NQF level 7 qualification/ master’s degree / honours degree in a cognate field for diploma in grade r teaching
Ideally a NQF level 8 qualification/ master’s degree / honours degree in a cognate field for PGCE intermediate phase and PGCE senior and FET phase.
Academic and practical experience and expertise in the field would be desirable.
Relevant experience within higher education
Relevant experience in learning materials creation

Duties:
conduct study material review and updates
setting of assignments and examination papers
marking of assignments and examination papers
module and curriculum development in conjunction with the head of faculty
quality assurance / work integrated learning (wil) knowledge and background would be advantageous
