Seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Bookkeeper to join our dynamic team.
This entry-level position is perfect for a recent school leaver with strong accounting results or an individual studying towards a BCom Finance or Bookkeeping certificate.
Comprehensive training will be provided.
Minimum Requirements:
Completed Grade 12 with excellent results in accounting.
Bookkeeping or accounting-related certificate advantageous.
Basic knowledge of accounting principles and willingness to learn.
Some previous bookkeeping or accounting admin experience is preferred.
Excellent attention to detail and accuracy.
Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and basic computer literacy.
Strong communication and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with capturing financial transactions into accounting systems.
Reconciling accounts and preparing basic financial reports.
Handle bookkeeping tasks, including maintaining accurate ledgers and journals.
Assist with payroll processing and ensure accuracy in employee records.
Support in VAT submissions under supervision.
Provide administrative support to Senior Accountants.
Maintain accurate and organized financial records.
Perform other general accounting and clerical duties as required.
