Seeking a highly motivated and results-driven External Sales Representative to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong track record in B2B sales, with a focus on building and maintaining relationships in the Material Handling and Processing sector. This role requires a proactive individual who is committed to delivering on promises, ensuring customer satisfaction, and driving business growth.
Minimum Requirements:
A minimum of 3 years B2B sales experience in a Material Handling and Processing or industrial environment.
Ability to generate and close sales through strong relationship-building and negotiation skills.
Technical aptitude or the ability to learn about specialized conveyor belting, transmission components, rollers and other related products.
Self-motivated and results-oriented with a drive to exceed sales targets.
Valid driver’s license and willingness to travel extensively for client visits.
Highly reliable with a strong work ethic.
Persistent and tenacious—able to push through challenges and close deals.
Organized and detail-oriented to manage client relationships effectively.
Excellent communicator who can engage clients professionally and confidently.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Develop and maintain strong relationships with new and existing clients.
Identify and target potential customers to expand the company’s client base.
Promote and sell a range of specialized conveyor belting, transmission components, rollers and other related products, including components used in manufacturing and production environments.
Conduct site visits to understand client needs and provide tailored solutions.
Prepare and present proposals, quotations, and product recommendations.
Work closely with internal teams to ensure efficient order fulfilment and customer satisfaction.
Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly sales targets.
Keep up to date with industry trends, market conditions, and competitor activities.
