R12 – R15,000 CTC per month
1-Year Fixed Term Contract


The Academic Quality Consultant is responsible for maintaining institutional quality standards by supporting governance, accountability, and performance across all departments. This role involves implementing quality assurance processes, coordinating training, monitoring compliance, and facilitating internal audits to drive continuous improvement.

Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree.
1 to 2 years’ experience in higher education quality assurance.
Strong communication and public speaking abilities.
Knowledge of higher education reporting systems.
Project management and coordination skills.
Data analysis and problem-solving capabilities.
Advanced proficiency in Excel, Word, PowerPoint, and Outlook.
Ability to interpret and apply institutional policies and procedures.

Duties and Responsibilities:
Quality Management & Compliance:

Develop and execute an annual Quality Management System (QMS) plan.
Conduct training sessions for staff on QMS policies and procedures.
Ensure adherence to academic and operational calendars.
Monitor and report on quality assurance activities and audits.
Maintain updated institutional documentation for compliance purposes.
Oversee implementation of recommendations from internal audits.
Support alignment between departments and regional offices.
Monitoring & Evaluation:
Conduct site visits to ensure compliance and provide training.
Review regional reports and provide quality assurance feedback.
Assist in data collection, verification, and reporting for regulatory compliance.
Participate in institutional document reviews, including policies and procedures.
Track and support the implementation of quality improvement initiatives.
Administrative & Reporting Support:
Organize and prepare documents for meetings and presentations.
Manage departmental records, audit documentation, and risk control matrices.
Track and order departmental supplies as needed.
Process and submit payments for monitoring and evaluation-related invoices.
Additional Requirements:
Willingness to work after hours and on Saturdays when required.
Participation in special or ad-hoc projects based on operational needs.
