This Halal Commis Chef role offers a young, motivated culinary graduate the opportunity to gain hands-on experience in a Halal-certified kitchen, under the mentorship of experienced chefs. The setting is fast-paced, creative, and deeply rooted in culinary excellence, perfect for someone passionate about food, detail, and cultural authenticity
Minimum Requirements:,
Prior experience in a Halaal kitchen preferred
Matric (Grade 12)
Formal culinary training is a plus
Willingness to learn and take direction
Attention to detail and strong work ethic
Duties and Responsibilities:
Assist with food prep under guidance of senior chefs
Maintain cleanliness of kitchen and work areas
Uphold Halal compliance at all times
Portion and plate dishes during service
Support kitchen team with general duties as needed
