The ideal candidate will have expertise in powder metallurgy, a background in a sintering environment, and a willingness to engage in long-term learning to further develop specialist skills in terms of powder setting.
Minimum Requirements:
Strong mechanical technical knowledge
Familiarity with hydraulic and pneumatic systems
Experience with compacting and calibration processes
Knowledge of sintering techniques
Proficiency in turning operations
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings
Strong analytical thinking skills
Logical problem-solving abilities
High level of precision in work tasks
Demonstrated technical dexterity and hands-on skills
Duties and Responsibilities:
Mounting, dismounting, and accurately centering the adaptor in the press.
Setting up the machine to produce parts according to customer specifications.
Configuring the machine parameters and performing both manual and mechanical setups.
Making precise adjustments to ensure that parts meet specified requirements.
Measuring parts for dimensional accuracy and density.
Performing repairs on the press that do not require intervention from the maintenance team.
Ensuring that machines are maintained at optimal operating conditions.
Monitoring production to ensure smooth operations and making necessary adjustments as needed.
Understanding and adhering to quality standards and following the escalation procedures for any quality issues.
Identifying and proposing improvements to processes and equipment.
Actively supporting the installation and adjustment of equipment.
Relocation: Assistance with documentation, travel and accommodation is provided.
Training: Workback period agreements for training provided.
