High-quality teaching and research activities for the Audio-Visual department in overarching delivery and development of assigned subjects (producing across the degree, diploma, and higher certificate programs).
Minimum Requirements:
Honours Degree in Film (or related field)
Completed or involved in NQF level 9 in a related field
4-5 years of relevant industry experience
2-3 years of relevant lecturing experience (Teaching experience is essential)
Professional experience and knowledge of the production of feature films, television, documentary, and advertising
Active involvement/connections to Cape Town and the SA film industry
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lecturing
Content development
Teaching and learning
Setting, moderation, and marketing of assessments
Co-ordination and supervision of student productions
research
