This is a hands-on, fully owned HR Manager role reporting directly into the CFO. The successful candidate will not be sitting on the sidelines offering advisory input. They will be in the thick of it, managing the full HR function from end to end, navigating everything from disciplinary hearings and CCMA representation to payroll inputs, equity submissions and workforce planning across a diverse and shift-based workforce.

Minimum Requirements
NQF Level 7 qualification in Human Resources Management, Industrial Relations or a related field.
Five to eight years of generalist HR experience, with a track record of managing or leading an HR function.
Strong hands-on experience handling disciplinary hearings, grievances and CCMA matters.
Sound working knowledge of South African employment legislation including the BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA and POPIA.
Experience managing payroll inputs, statutory reporting and employee benefits administration.
Strong administrative, organisational and record-keeping capabilities.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Ability to work independently, take full ownership and meet deadlines without hand-holding.
High degree of integrity and discretion when dealing with confidential and sensitive employee information.
SABPP registration is advantageous.
Skills Development Facilitator training or experience is advantageous.
Experience in a 24/7, shift-based or security environment is advantageous.
Knowledge of PSIRA, NBCPSS and PSSPF requirements is advantageous.
Exposure to the technology, cybersecurity or professional services sector is advantageous.
Key Responsibilities
Manage the full employee lifecycle from recruitment and onboarding through to exits.
Handle disciplinary matters, grievances, incapacity processes and workplace investigations end to end.
Prepare for and represent the organisation at CCMA when required.
Ensure compliance with all applicable employment legislation including BCEA, LRA, EEA, SDA, POPIA and relevant statutory frameworks.
Manage employment contracts, probation tracking, leave administration and employee records.
Coordinate recruitment processes including vetting, induction and onboarding.
Manage performance review cycles, KPI tracking and employee development plans.
Prepare and maintain the Workplace Skills Plan and Annual Training Report.
Perform or support the Skills Development Facilitator function.
Review payroll inputs and liaise with finance to ensure accuracy.
Administer employee benefits and maintain salary structures and bands.
Manage Employment Equity requirements and ensure statutory submissions are completed timeously.
Oversee UIF, COIDA and other HR-related statutory administration.
Ensure NBCPSS and PSSPF compliance for security personnel where applicable.
Maintain and update HR policies, procedures and templates.
Coordinate employee access, role changes and exit processes with IT and relevant departments.
Prepare monthly HR reports, dashboards and compliance updates for management.
Provide practical, commercially grounded HR guidance to managers and executives.
