Location: Rosebank, Johannesburg
Salary: R15 000 to R25 000 per month basic + Commission
Additional: Cellphone allowance and travel reimbursement
Duration: Permanent
Employment Type: Full-Time | Office-Based with transition to Hybrid
 
This is an exciting opportunity to join a growing company operating in the South African education technology space, providing innovative coding and robotics solutions to schools. With a clear mission to make a real difference in how learners engage with technology, this team is passionate, driven, and making meaningful impact in classrooms across the country.
 
This is a field-facing sales role for someone who genuinely understands the education environment and thrives in a target-driven space. You will be responsible for developing new business across Gauteng, managing and growing existing school accounts, and representing the company's solutions through in-person demos and presentations to school leadership. If you love being out in the field, building relationships with decision-makers, and closing deals that matter, this one is for you.

Minimum Requirements
  • Proven sales experience, ideally within the education sector
  • Experience selling coding, robotics, or similar edtech solutions is a strong advantage
  • Comfortable cold calling and opening doors with new prospects
  • Confident presenting to principals, HODs, and other senior decision-makers
  • Strong relationship management and account growth track record
  • Self-motivated, energetic, and consistent with follow-through
  • Valid driver's licence and own reliable transport
  • Based in or able to commute to Rosebank, Johannesburg
Key Responsibilities
  • Prospect and develop new business opportunities across schools in Gauteng
  • Manage and nurture an existing client base to grow account value
  • Conduct in-person product demonstrations at schools
  • Present solutions confidently to senior leadership and key decision-makers
  • Cold call and generate your own pipeline of new leads
  • Maintain accurate records of sales activity and client interactions
  • Meet and exceed monthly sales targets
  • Represent the brand professionally in all school-facing engagements
