Business Development & Account Manager – Mining & Corporate Clients (JB5851)

R25 – R30 000 basic salary per month + commission (OTE) + company vehicle

Drive sales and account management within the mining and corporate sector by managing key accounts, developing new business, and handling tender-driven opportunities. This role requires proven experience working with mining procurement structures, formal tender processes, and senior stakeholder engagement.

Minimum Requirements:
Degree or Diploma in Environmental Engineering IT/Instrumentation/Electrical, Mechanical Engineering) or Marketing
Minimum of 3 years proven experience selling to corporate clients (non-negotiable)
Minimum of 3 years proven experience within the mining sector sales experience (non-negotiable)
Proven experience working with tenders within a corporate or mining environment (non-negotiable)
Strong account management experience
Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills
Experience working within structured, compliance-driven sales cycles
Valid driver’s license

Duties and Responsibilities:
Manage and grow existing corporate and mining client accounts
Develop new business opportunities within the mining sector
Manage and support tender processes, including RFQs, RFPs, pricing inputs, compliance documentation, and submissions
Engage with procurement teams, engineers, and senior operational stakeholders
Coordinate internally to ensure tender requirements and deadlines are met
Conduct client meetings, presentations, and commercial negotiations
Maintain accurate records of tenders, pipelines, and account activity
Ensure long-term client retention through effective account management
