A specialist asset and equipment finance provider that supports SME businesses seeks a recent graduate to take up the role of Junior Credit Analyst.
You will manage application screening, data accuracy and initial risk checks while receiving hands-on coaching and guidance.

Minimum Requirements:
Completed and relevant BCom or BSc degree
Recent graduate who wants to build a long-term career
Ability to work accurately under pressure
Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Confident interpersonal skills to liaise with internal and external stakeholders
High attention to detail with an analytical mindset
Comfortable working with CRM or similar systems for capturing applications
Vibrant, enthusiastic personality that brings energy into the team

Duties and Responsibilities:
Capture, verify, and quality-check all incoming credit applications with complete accuracy
Assess documentation for completeness, consistency, and alignment with scorecard requirements
Analyse bank statements, financial statements, and supporting documents to identify affordability, risk indicators, and application viability
Conduct thorough credit bureau checks and interpret results to guide recommendations
Validate supplier information, equipment values, and transaction legitimacy
Communicate confidently with sales teams, brokers, suppliers, and clients to obtain missing information and provide clear updates
Form early-stage credit views based on data, patterns, and red flags, and escalate findings appropriately
Track applications through the full process to ensure SLA and turnaround targets are met
Prepare information packs, summaries, and inputs that contribute to the compilation of full credit papers
Work closely with the credit team to ensure decisions are informed, well-supported, and documented
Contribute to continuous improvements in application processes, document control, and workflow efficiency

Support broader operations and credit functions as required in a fast-paced environment
