A dynamic and rapidly expanding international organisation is seeking an experienced Global HR Senior Manager to strengthen its leadership team. Operating across multiple regions, this business is recognised for its innovative approach and people-first culture, with a strong focus on growth, collaboration, and long-term impact.
As Global HR Senior Manager, you will be based in Stellenbosch with responsibility for leading HR in South Africa and overseeing operations across Africa and Europe. Working closely with senior leadership and global HR peers, you will shape and deliver HR strategy, establish scalable structures, and drive initiatives across the full employee lifecycle. This role offers the chance to make a meaningful impact in a fast-paced, high-growth environment where both strategic vision and hands-on execution are key.
Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field (Master’s preferred)
Minimum 10-12 years of HR experience with at least 5 years in a global HR leadership role.
Strong knowledge of South African labour legislation and familiarity with international HR practices and legal frameworks.
Proven experience managing HR projects across multiple countries or regions.
Experience in change management, organisational development, and leading transformation initiatives.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with the ability to influence at all levels.
Strategic mindset with a hands-on approach to problem-solving and execution.
Ability to work effectively across time zones, cultures, and complex organisational structures.
Responsibilities:
Implement and manage HR strategies aligned with the overall business plan and strategic direction of the organization across global regions.
Act as the HR lead for South Africa while supporting EMEA and APAC teams.
Drive global talent acquisition, performance management, succession planning, and leadership development programs in collaboration with local and regional teams.
Ensure compliance with labour laws and HR policies in all operating countries; manage employee relations matters globally with a fair, consistent, and risk-mitigating approach.
Lead initiatives focused on employee engagement, culture, change management, and organisational effectiveness.
Leverage data and analytics to assess HR performance, support business decisions, and measure the impact of people strategies.
