The General Manager - Sales and Operations is a key leadership role focused on driving both business growth and operational efficiency. Minimum Requirements:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or Sales & Marketing
5 to 8 years of experience in a similar role, preferably within the car rental or automotive industry.
Strong understanding of fleet management, logistics, and branch operations.
Proven experience in financial planning, budgeting, and cost control.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Proficiency in relevant software and systems used in operational management.
Strong problem-solving ability and decision-making skills.
Knowledge of compliance and safety regulations.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operational Oversight:
Supervise and oversee daily operations, ensuring smooth workflow and efficiency.
Manage vehicle inspections, fleet management, and logistics to maintain operational excellence.
Monitor and improve branch performance to align with company objectives.
Ensure compliance with company policies, industry regulations, and safety standards.
Strategic & Financial Management:
Develop and implement strategies to optimize operations and drive business growth.
Contribute to budgeting, financial planning, and cost control measures.
Identify quality control issues and implement effective solutions.
Forecast operational needs and develop plans to enhance productivity.
Team Leadership & Development:
Recruit, train, and mentor staff, fostering a culture of teamwork and continuous improvement.
Ensure employees adhere to operational policies and best practices.
Oversee human resources functions, including performance management and staff motivation.
Create and implement HR and marketing policies to support company growth.
Customer Service & Supplier Relations:
Maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage inventory levels effectively.
Ensure high levels of customer satisfaction through excellent service and prompt issue resolution.
Liaise with external service providers and contractors to support operational needs.
Compliance & Safety:
Oversee compliance with all legal, health, and safety regulations.
Ensure that operational practices prioritize safety and efficiency.
Maintain proper record-keeping and reporting structures.
Additional Expectations:
Be available after hours in case of emergencies.
