Our client, a prominent provider of innovative and flexible solutions centered around health, wellness, and financial security, is seeking medical aid broker sales consultant to join their team.
 
The Sales Consultant will act as a reliable point of contact for clients, providing assistance and support with their medical aid and health-related products. They will offer expert advice and guidance on securing alternative medical aid coverage, navigating the option change period, and conducting interim upgrade investigations.
 
Minimum Requirements: 
Matric 
CMS accreditation (advantageous) 
Minimum 2 years experience in medical aid industry essential 
Experience in a call center or client service environment 
RE5 and/or Wealth Management qualification NQF level 5 (advantageous) 
Good negotiation skills and effective in dealing with customers and 
Proficiency in Excel and CRM programs 
 
Duties and Responsibilities: 
Provide exceptional service delivery and maintain consistent communication with clients via telephone and email.
Collaborate with medical aid providers to oversee and resolve clients' application processes and option change requests.
Coordinate effectively to ensure the timely processing of new sales.
Qualify and manage leads by engaging with clients and assessing their individual needs.
Prepare comparative medical aid quotations based on thorough Needs Analysis assessments.
Offer tailored recommendations and guidance to clients on the most suitable options for their needs.
Conduct investigations into Late Joiner Penalties to ensure accurate client information.
Provide ongoing support in managing clients' health portfolios, ensuring comprehensive coverage from a holistic health perspective.
Identify clients' needs for additional products, to generate referrals and cross-selling opportunities.
Advise and guide clients, both existing and new, on potential option changes to optimize their coverage.
Ensure the timely execution of all required processes for efficient lead handling.
Maintain adherence to all compliance standards and FAIS requirements.
Conduct follow-up calls with clients as needed to address concerns and provide additional assistance.
Assist with any other duties related to client health portfolio management and service delivery.
