We are seeking a skilled Workshop Supervisor to oversee our clients' operations in refrigerated body building and steel trailer manufacturing. Your primary responsibilities will include supervising and training staff, managing production schedules, ensuring machine maintenance, and upholding safety standards.
Minimum Requirements:
Demonstrated experience in refrigerated body building and steel trailer manufacturing or a closely related field.
Proficiency in a range of workshop skills including fibreglass techniques, polyurethane and styrene utilization, vacuum table operation, steel fabrication, CNC machining, and spray painting.
Strong leadership and communication skills.
Ability to prioritize tasks and manage multiple projects simultaneously.
Attention to detail and a commitment to quality craftsmanship.
Knowledge of industry-specific safety regulations and best practices.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Supervise and train workshop staff in various specialized skills
Create and manage staff schedules to optimize production efficiency.
Generate machine maintenance reports and ensure equipment is properly maintained.
Prepare daily and weekly production reports and schedules.
Personally oversee work processes to identify and address any factors hindering operations.
Enforce safety regulations and protocols to ensure a safe working environment.
Conduct performance reviews with staff to provide feedback and support their professional development.
