Our client, a leading Body and Trailer Manufacturer is seeking an experienced seeking a dynamic and experienced Branch Manager to lead their service and repair center.
As the Branch Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of their service and repair operations, focusing on efficiency, quality, safety, and environmental sustainability. The ideal candidate will possess strong leadership skills, a proven track record in refrigerated manufacturing and/or steel trailer repair, and a dedication to delivering top-notch products.
Minimum Requirements:
Post-school technical diploma in Manufacturing/Steel repairs/Refrigerated bodies or a related field.
Proven experience in a managerial role within a manufacturing or remanufacturing environment, preferably in the refrigerated bodies industry.
A strong understanding of refrigerated bodies/steel trailer processes would be an advantage.
Excellent leadership, communication, and organizational skills.
Commitment to safety, sustainability, and quality.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Operations Management:
Manage the day-to-day operations of the refrigerated bodies retreading facility, ensuring optimal production output.
Implement and enforce standardized operating procedures to maintain high-quality standards.
Oversee the entire service and repair process, from receiving trucks for repairs/service to delivering first-class repaired and serviced trucks to satisfied clients.
Quality Assurance:
Implement quality control measures to guarantee premium-class repairs and excellent services.
Monitor and analyze daily/weekly repairs/services to identify areas for improvement and optimization.
Team Management:
Lead, mentor, and motivate a diverse team of repairs and service staff.
Foster a culture of teamwork, safety, and continuous improvement.
Safety and Compliance:
Enforce safety protocols to ensure a secure working environment for all employees.
Ensure compliance with industry regulations and environmental standards.
Inventory and Supply Chain Management:
Oversee inventory levels and manage the supply chain to meet repairs/service demands efficiently.
Collaborate with procurement to source quality materials for the repairs and service process.
