Are you ready to make a significant impact in some of the world's fastest-growing markets? Our client, an Africa-focused data and analytics firm, is seeking a dynamic Research Director to join their quantitative consumer team. As part of a global and multicultural team, you'll spearhead projects that provide invaluable insights to their clients, helping them maximize their potential in diverse African markets.
The ideal candidate will have a minimum of 8 years of experience in this field and possess deep sector experience in FMCG. French proficiency will be highly advantageous.
Minimum Requirements:
8-15 years of experience in consumer insights and research, with a focus on ad-hoc agency environments.
Deep sector expertise in FMCG, with a track record of success in brand health tracking, concept testing, and more.
Proficiency in statistical analysis tools like Excel and SPSS, coupled with strong people management skills.
Exceptional communication and stakeholder management abilities.
A problem-solving mindset and the ability to thrive in ambiguous environments.
Fluency in English; and French proficiency is a plus.
Duties and Responsibilities:
Lead end-to-end project management, ensuring client objectives are met at every step.
Design compelling reports packed with advanced marketing advice to guide client decision-making.
Drive innovation by crafting winning proposals and pitches tailored to client briefs.
Cultivate strong client relationships, understanding their strategic goals to shape research objectives.
Actively contribute to business growth, serving as a consumer insights expert and spokesperson.
Mentor and guide junior team members to foster their professional growth.
