Seeking a dedicated Academic Programme Quality Manager to oversee programme quality in the Supply Chain Management Faculty. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in aligning with our mission, vision, and strategy to ensure excellence in education.In this role, you will be responsible for upholding the highest standards of programme quality. By utilizing your strong academic operational expertise and management skills, you will drive comprehensive quality enhancement throughout the organisation’s Academic Governance Structure, Programme and Professional Body Accreditation, Regulatory Compliance, Research, Curriculum Development and Management, Assessment, Teaching and Learning, and Student Retention and Success. Your leadership will guide Programme Reviews in accordance with the Quality Assurance Framework established by the Council on Higher Education.

Qualifications:
Minimum of a Master’s Degree (Essential) in Supply Chain Management.
Doctorate or progress towards a Doctorate (Preferred).
Experience:
Minimum 8 years of academic work experience in a higher education institution, with at least 3 years in a management role (Essential).
More than 10 years of academic work experience in a higher education institution (Preferred).
Strong academic specialization focus in the Supply Chain Management Faculty.
Essential Competencies and Skills:
Proven expertise in Academic Operational Management.
Experience in designing, developing, and accrediting new programmes.
Proficiency in policy formulation and strategy development.
Thorough knowledge of Education and Training legislative frameworks.
Familiarity with regulatory affairs and academic quality assurance processes in higher education.
Demonstrated teaching, research, curriculum development, and assessment design experience.
Strong skills in risk management, communication, and business acumen.
High competency in MS Office applications, particularly Word and Excel.

Key Responsibilities:
Academic Governance and Management:
Lead the management of quality across programmes, from Accreditation and Compliance to Certification.
Oversee formal processes related to programme quality management.
Establish Programme Advisory Committees (PAC) and Programme Design, Development, and Review (PDDR) Committees, involving internal, external academics, and industry experts.
Develop, manage, and review policies for Programme Quality Management and Curriculum Development.
Prepare and monitor a departmental budget based on product development and review.
Foster strong relationships with internal and external stakeholders for effective collaboration and solutions in programme quality management.
Accreditation and Compliance:
Ensure quality assurance in regulatory submissions for programme accreditation and re-accreditation.
Stay updated on changes in education legislation and policy.
Programme Quality Management:
Ensure timely delivery of planned maintenance and reviews for programmes, aligned with the Quality Assurance Framework.
Facilitate programme articulation and new programme submissions within the school/faculty.
Enhance processes for programme design, development, and review, providing training as needed.
Establish Programme Advisory Boards for industry input into curriculum reviews and updates.
Gain endorsement of curriculum by professional bodies when applicable.
Monitor the implementation of improvement plans to completion.
General:
Willingness to work overtime when necessary.
